...when you're making other plans

Hello all, or anyone who feels like dropping by!

I do apologize for not posting in two months. If you'd like an explanation, here's the only one I can give. I've been having some troubles/ tough times, which I know we've all been having and is no excuse. My muse also suffered from a massive...slump isn't even close, is it?- meltdown?

Even now I don't feel as though I can write a full fic, so here's a little one, very fluffy and slightly creepy, inspired by the current prompt over at lost fic challenge, but I didn't think my writing is that good yet.

Notes: A double-drabble fluffy thing. I did not have time to write full fics for everyone, so everyone on my f-list can expect a little story like this, even though it might take until May!

Seriously, I can not get the LJ cut tag things to work to fit my story in them. I'm so frustrated, I'll try again tomorrow. Oh well. It's a Heroes fic, and pretty massive. So maybe it's either the length or the failing quality of the show that's why LJ is rejecting it.

If I don't post tomorrow, it'll be because I'm too excited getting ready for NYC!!!!! And "In the Heights"!

So, welcome to my day:

Wake up. Get rear-ended on my way to school. First period- professor tells me that- because apparently NO ONE in either my old high school or my sister's can keep paperwork- I should drop the course. Which I'm passing. With an A. Ugh.

Have two creepy guys flirt with you, get stood up by two "Friends", come home to parents fighting. Get in trouble at work for calling out because of said crappy day- sickness. Depression.

Fun stuff like that all leads to.....

In progress fics, including one HOUSE FIC! Which I'm excited about because I've missed House like heck. And it also leads to reading- right now I'm reading Snow Angels by Stewart O' Nan and it's really very good. I also have Northanger Abbey and other Austen on my to-read list.

And all this leads me to this clip, from my other favorite show EVAR besides...you know, Lost, House, Buffy, everything: Scrubs! Enjoy and I hope you all have had a fantastic day!

I'm so happy for all his long-time supporters, I'm so happy for my country. For the first time- in a long time- I'm proud to be an American. It's such an honor to have voted for him.

Being sick is awful. My brother recently had a virus, which has now gone to...me. Lovely.

Oh well, I hope you are all doing (better than me) well! Things that cheered me up today include--a paycheck, "Pretty Woman", "No Country for Old Men (it could be worse-see the former title)", and- General Silliness!

Recently, on EW.com, they had a post about TV shows the readers are "breaking up with". So here's mine.

Dear Heroes,
     I used to totally dig you, around season One. Then Season Two came, and you sucked. This season, now, sucks, and even though I love Zachary Quinto and Kristen Bell (and the SPOILER about the two of them) thrills me to pieces, you are now on probation. I'm not waiting till season Four for you to get good again. Kill some people off already and move on with the plot line!

     I can't believe I never watched you before! And, even though this week's episode was only okay, you're still the best thing on TV for me right now while I wait for 2009...and the return of....


LOST! So, by now, you've all seen the Season Five promo, right? Time to discuss! 

Congrats also to everyone else nominated over at the community as well; I'm sorry for being so scatter-brained! Off to bed!

LJ turned back on my rich text! Now I  don't look like that big of an idiot! YEA!

In other news, I got most of everything in RL settled down, so I don't want to bore anyone with the details of this. I do want to apologize for the waste of any time/ space I gave to anyone. College is fantastic- ten thousand times better than high school.

Thanks so, so, so much whoever nominated my story at lost_fic_awards ; it's such a great surprise and such a great group of stories, I'm so thrilled to even be up there!

Hopefully, fic is coming soon (which it always sometimes is), most likely "Heroes" related. Just wanted to say hola- again- and I'm so glad all of you are doing well, sweeties!

Oh, by the way, just a forewarning, "Pushing Daisies" is my new obsession.

I need to take a little break away from LJ for a while, to fix some things I've gotten myself into. Thanks for all the much love and great support you've all given me. I hope you're all doing fantastic and continue to do so.
